The Geoff Pitt Natural Therapy guide to:

Foot Joint Mobilisation

Foot Joint Manipulation for cold hands and feet

Do you suffer from cold hands, and cold feet?

Sunstroke kills. Excessive cold also kills.
If the cold is excessive all vital processes suffer.
When your feet are cold:

  • this constricts the surface blood vessels beneath the skin
  • lowers skin activity
  • affects the capillary function of circulation
  • leads to inadequate skin nourishment.

As skin is robbed of its fatty principal- the sebum, the skin is now dry and cracks, chilblains can follow....

Cold hands and cold feet, equal poor circulation.

Mobilise the joints in the hands and feet, and you mobilise circulation.

Do you suffer from a pain in the foot?

Is a rolled ankle a pain?
Have you rolled your ankle playing sports?
Have you slipped in high heels, and now it really is a pain to stand tall?
You will feel safe putting you sore feet in the hands of Geoff Pitt, - Specialist, in hand and foot joint mobilisation.

Yes - hand joint manipulation, and foot joint manipulation does sound like your hands and feet are getting a cracking good time. And that's Ok.

It feels funny to have your leg pulled, but your leg is fine about it. And it does not hurt. Only the thought makes you feel a little funny about it.

So if your poor soles are in pain,, maybe your foot joints are locked up ?
Is it worth it to your to get it checked out. What have you got to loose?
Not only do your feet feel warm and toasty afterwards. But good circulation means a good blood flow of nutrition to your foot joints and hand joints.
And good circulation,, can have a flow on benefit for tight calf muscles, or hamstring issues.

Correcting skeletal function from the feet

Geoff Pitt is your hands on therapist. He will tell you his hands on sensitivity is an art not a science. For science he will send you to Alice for a diagnostic Scenar work out. Alice will tell you Scenar is very labour intensive, and time expensive. But you will just tell her you are worth it

Your body is reliant on the feet for balance and stability. If any of the bones in the your feet are incorrectly aligned then your whole body is affected. For example, your knee can rotate inwards affecting hips which in turn impact on the stomach, groin and back.

A misalignment in your body produces muscle stress

Muscle stress can affect your neck and shoulders as your body attempts to compensate for any incorrect alignment of your feet bones. Muscle stress can also radiate down the body from neck to upper arm, to elbows. Or radiate up the body from wrist, to elbows, to shoulder.

The long term outcome is prolonged physiological stress. We all now nothing ages one faster than longer term chronic pain. Traditionally Natural therapist have always said any pain longer than six months is now Chronic. Dr Gerd Raetzel, Scenar Trainer, Osteopath , Acupuncturist and German Orthopaedic Specialist, now calls any pain longer than 3 days a chronic pain. This really turns the terminology of acute versus chronic on its head. Especially for us optimistic types, who one day at a time, are always hopeful that pain has gone over night, just like it did when we were kids.
